Celebration of Dr.Ambedkar's 125th Birth anniversary in the consulate

A function to celebrate Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, the chief architect of Indian Constitution was held at the consulate on 08 April 2016. The function was preceded by garlanding of Babasaheb's statue at SFU Campus. Apart from Consul General Mr. Rajiv K.Chander, Mr.Jai Birdi ,Executive Director of Chetna Association, Mr.Dave Hayer Ex M.P., Dr.Samir Gandesha,Associate professor, Director Institute for the Humanities, Simon Fraser University, Ms.Moninder Lalli, Librarian, SFU, Dr.Prabhjot Parmar, Assistant Professor,Department of English, University of Fraser Valley, Mr.Zile Singh, former Ambassador of India to North Korea also spoke on the occasion.
