CGI, Vancouver led a 12-member delegation-consisting of 3 members from ICICI Bank, Canada and 7 members from Indo-Pacific Foundation- to participate in the “Magnetic North 2024: The First Spark, organized by Yukon Chamber of Commerce in Whitehorse. The inaugural session was attended by Premier Ranj Pillai and Minister John Streicker.
The delegation had a round-table meeting with Premier of Yukon and discussed opportunities for cooperation in health, education, immigration, filming, nurses recruitment, financing, etc., and the ways to move forward.
The event also saw several panel discussions focussing on food and Energy security, clean tech, AI, health sector, etc. in which Indian delegates participated actively.
During the Summit, a MoU was signed between the Yukon Chamber of Commerce and Indo Pacific Foundation.
