Consul General Masakui Rungsung met with His Worship Ken Sim, Mayor of Vancouver, British Columbia. During their meeting, they explored ways to strengthen cultural ties, empower the Indian diaspora, and foster engagement between the City of Vancouver and India in various fields.

Consul General Masakui Rungsung was happy to receive Deputy Chief Constable Steve Rai, Vancouver Police Department (VPD) in his office. They discussed cooperation on key issues of mutual interest between the Consulate and the VPD.

What an incredible day at Namaste Canada 2024! Consul General Masakui Rungsung expressed heartfelt gratitude to all visiting dignitaries, groups, performers, and audience for their enthusiastic participation and support.

 

Empowering Action Against Alzheimer's!
 On September 22, 2024, Consul General Masakui Rungsung joined the 'Climb for Alzheimer's' fundraising event to hike Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver. This inspiring initiative supports programs that care for millions affected worldwide, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and supported. Let's unite to make a difference!

Consul General visited the facility of Natu Oil in Port Coquitlam and met with their management team led by Haresh Bhatt and Hema Bhatt. He was briefed about the journey of Natu Oil and its products. Consul General also took a tour of the facility. Consul General was also informed about their India’s operation. Consul General appreciated their journey and wished them all success.

Joining the noble Plant4Mother campaign launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Consul General Masakui Rungsung teamed up with Lakshmi Narayan Temple's office bearers in Surrey to plant trees on the temple premises. Let's work together to make our planet greener and healthier! This initiative inspires us to take action for a better tomorrow.
