In the run-up to the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2024, the Consulate General of India in Vancouver hosted a Yoga and meditation session on 21 May 2024 at the Consulate premises. Amitabh Ranjan, Acting Consul General welcomed the Yogacharya Nalin Mann of Kevala Yoga, who conducted the session. This event would set in motion various yoga-related activities that would be hosted by the Consulate and our diaspora associations and Yoga gurus over the next 30 days to celebrate International Day of Yoga, 2024.

UN raises India’s 2024 growth rate to 6.9 pc; remains world’s fastest-growing large economy

Indian economy’s growth rate projection for this year has been raised by 0.7 per cent to 6.9 per cent from the forecast made in January by the UN and it retains its position as the world’s fastest-growing large economy.
